Chapters 18-19

I was not expecting Billy to be in as bad as shape as he was. I was surprised yet again by Billy's confession about knowing Georgie had been watching. I did not know he could be so cruel. He is more to blame for Agatha's death than Georgie. Georgie must be hurting a lot because of the lie and of how she admitted her feelings to him saying he could wait and marry her when she was old enough. And to string Georgie along about it, very cruel! I think he must still be very in love with Agatha, and Georgie was right  in thinking it would not workout with Billy and Polly. Mr. Olmstead may end up being the nicer of the too.
This book is full of surprises. Was not expecting Georgie's grandfather to die. There is still hope that Agatha is still alive because of what Georgie found out at the train station.
